Save Our Sight Month

September is Save Our Sight Month.

This initiative was started in an effort to break the thought process “You only have an eye exam if you think you need glasses”. If a person has never experienced vision problems they are unlikely to book in for an eye exam. However eye diseases often have no symptoms in the onset. When a person eventually starts to notice a loss in their vision, it can be too late to reverse the damage already caused.
Save Our Sight is about encouraging early intervention to ensure that New Zealanders maintain the best vision they can for the longest time possible.  So book in for an eye exam today to make sure your eyes are as healthy as you think they are!
